Gillmore Centre Policy Forum - Live Stream

Bank of England Deputy Governor Sir Jon Cunliffe is set to speak about Central Bank Digital Currencies at the inaugural Gillmore Centre Policy Forum.

The event at WBS London at The Shard is fully booked, but those interested can register to watch the event via the live stream.

Sir Jon is one of two keynote speakers at the Gillmore Centre Policy Forum, with Lord Chris Holmes, Vice-chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on FinTech, House of Lords, also giving an address.

The DeFi & Digital Currencies: The Challenges & Opportunities for Policy Makers will also see talks by representatives from the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, the Bank of International Settlements and the Bank of Canada.

Warwick Business School’s Gillmore Centre was established in 2019 thanks to a £3 million donation from Clive Gillmore, founding member and CEO of Mondrian Investment Partners, that holds Rothko as a subsidiary.

Its mission is to research emerging technologies in the financial sector, such as AI, blockchain, mobile payments, cryptocurrencies and crowdfunding platforms.

The policy forum follows the DeFi & Digital Currencies Conference in September, which assembled some of the world’s leading finance and economics academics researching the emergence of fintech.
