Emily joined WBS in January 2024 and completed her PhD in Business and Management at Warwick Business School in 2021. In her current role, Emily collaborates with the Coventry & Warwickshire Integrated Care Board (ICB) to co-develop and deliver research between the ICB and teams at the University of Warwick, related to the organisation and management of integrated care and services across the region.
Her research focuses on understanding how relationships and collaborative dynamics influence organisation and systems change, for example, the ability to innovate, improve, adopt, and implement new practices and processes in health and care environments.
Before joining WBS, Emily worked as a Research Fellow at Warwick Medical School in the Centre for Mental Health & Wellbeing, collaborating with local and international research teams and partners on projects for funding bodies such as NIHR, MRC, and the British Council. During her PhD, she was a Research Assistant for the NHS-VMI Evaluation, leading the organisational network research and supporting other aspects of the evaluation, its dissemination, and impact.
In her spare time, Emily enjoys reading and taking long walks while listening to podcasts.
