Dr. Shuqi Zhu is a Houlden Fellow Researcher at Warwick Business School. Her research explores consumer-technology interactions and the psychology of technology usage. Specifically, her current projects seek to deliver further insights into the impact of technology on consumer judgment, perception, and choice, and to provide helpful guidance for consumer marketers.
She has presented at leading academic conferences such as the Association for Consumer Research, the Society for Consumer Psychology, and the Society for Judgement and Decision Making. In the Association for Consumer Research, she was the recipient of the Sheth Foundation, Doctoral Symposium Small Grant Award in 2020.
Dr. Shuqi Zhu's teaching practice is founded on principles of engagement and interaction with students who attend her modules, and she is passionate about communicating complex theoretical ideas in accessible ways. She has received a number of WBS Teaching Awards for her work with undergraduate and postgraduate students.
Shuqi earned her Ph.D. from Warwick Business School in 2023, an M.S. in Marketing from Fordham Gabelli School of Business, and a B.S. in Business from New York University Stern School of Business in 2016.
