Using Your MBA to Launch a Social Enterprise Start Up

Are you thinking of doing an MBA and at the same time want to go beyond just making money? Many students use the project & dissertation aspect of their Warwick MBA to gain the knowledge necessary to launch a start-up. This can range from developing specialist expertise in a new area to creating a full business plan for the start-up.

This webinar will be led by two Warwick Students who used this approach. Steven Adjei will talk about Blue Cloud Health Care, an innovative social enterprise that funds transformational healthcare projects in Africa. Anderson Hirst, who has started two speciality consultancy businesses, and coaches current MBA students on choosing ‘sweet spot’ research projects, will share more general advice for using your research project for a start-up.

During the webinar, they will share their passion and excitement for using a research project to start up a business. They will also show how your MBA can be used for so much more than obtaining a business qualification.
