PhD (University of Warwick), MSc (LSE), and Nursing Dip (Canada). My doctoral research was on Multinational Mining Corporations and CSR decision-making and practices. Past research projects include working on a 3 year multi-institutional global research project analysing mining and community health issues in developing countries including South Africa, Mozambique, and Madagascar. Prior to higher education, I spent many years in public health and in managing community and youth development projects in Southern Africa, Central and South America and enjoy the juncture between theory and practice.
