Mark holds a Doctorate (EngD) and MSc from the University of Warwick. His current research (very!) broadly examines control and coordination in operations and supply chains. He is also Associate Dean for the Undergraduate portfolio at WBS.
Mark's research has been published in the Journal of Operations Management, Research Policy, the Journal of Supply Chain Management, the International Journal of Operations and Production Management, the International Journal of Production Economics and the International Journal of Physical Distribution and Logistics Management amongst others.
Mark has worked with a number of companies in his research and education. These include: Emirates, Rolls-Royce, BAE Systems, the Fire and Rescue Service, UK NHS, Atos Origin, PA Consulting, UK Trade and Investment, DB Schenker, British American Tobacco, HP Enterprise Services, Jaguar Land Rover, GKN Aerospace and GVA Grimley. He teaches a range of Operations and Supply Chain Management subjects at undergraduate, postgraduate and executive level. Mark was won numerous awards for his teaching.
Mark is a member of the ESRC peer review college and he is an Associate Editor of the Journal of Operations Management and International Journal of Operations and Production Management and Editorial Review Board member of the Journal of Supply Chain Management.
