Mo (Mohammad Moeini-Aghkariz) is an Associate Professor in Information Systems at Warwick Business School (WBS). Prior to starting this role in 2020, he was a Senior Lecturer at the University of Sussex Business School since 2015. He obtained his PhD from HEC Montreal, Canada. His research is published in leading IS outlets including MISQ, JAIS, JSIS and JIT.
Mo is serving on the editorial board of JSIS and the editorial review board of ISR. He is the recipient of two Best Reviewer Awards from AIS SIGITProjMgmt (2013/14), a best Associate Editor nomination for ICIS 2019, the Prix La Relève (a recognition prize for upcoming professionals in project management) from PMI-Montréal (2015), and the Research Excellence Award for Emerging Scholars from the University of Sussex Business School (2019).
Mo is passionate about teaching and learning and has received several teaching awards from HEC Montreal, University of Sussex, and Warwick Business School. Currently, Mo is Course Director for the Global Online MBA programme at Warwick. Prior to this role, he was Course Director for MSc IS and Digital Innovation (MISDI) at WBS and Course Director for UG Business and Management at the University of Sussex Business School.
