Mojtaba Poorrezaei is Associate Professor of Marketing and joined Warwick Business School in August 2023. Prior to this, Mojtaba held the role of Programme Leader for the MSc Marketing Suite at Nottingham Trent University, where he played an important role in shaping the educational experiences of future marketing professionals. His dedication to teaching extends across both undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) courses, allowing him to engage with students at different stages of their academic journeys.
In 2021, Mojtaba received the Vice Chancellor Teaching Award, highlighting his dedication to nurturing the intellectual growth of students. The award recognises and celebrates inspirational and outstanding teaching, research and practice. In 2020, he also received the NTSU Outstanding Teaching Award, which further underscores his passion for delivering exceptional educational experiences.
Mojtaba obtained his PhD in Information Systems from Salford Business School in 2016. His research have revolved around the dynamic world of marketing, with a particular focus on customer experience and the transformative role of new technologies in enhancing customer engagement. His work has been published in reputable and high-ranked journals such as Journal of Service Research, Journal of Vocational Behavior, International Journal of Market Research, Qualitative Market Research: An International Journal.
Research Interests
Mojtaba's research interests encompass the domains of customer experience, customer engagement, and value co-creation. His primary focus revolves around comprehending, measuring, and conceptualising these notions within diverse contexts.
