Dr. Neha Gupta is a teaching focussed Assistant Professor in Information Systems Management and Analytics group. She holds a PhD in Urban Data Science from Warwick Institute Of Science of Cities (WISC), University of Warwick (2018). She is a Fellow Of Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and a Fellow of Warwick Higher Education Network (WIHEA) where she co-leads AI in Education Learning Circle. She has been a recipient of WBS CORE award for excellence in teaching in 2022-23 and award for outstanding contribution to pastoral care in 2023-24 .
Her research interests revolve around examining the practical applications of AI, Data Science and Software Engineering in the realms of Higher Education and other industry sectors.
Before commencing an academic role at WBS, her career spanned working in diverse technical, consultancy and management roles in various multinational firms (AGCO Corporation, UCAS, HSBC, AVON Cosmetics, TEOCO in the UK and TATA Consultancy Services, LG Soft, Bharti Telecom Group in India). She is a PRINCE2 certified practitioner in Project Management.
Outside work, she is keen for yoga, exploring spiritual disciplines and volunteering for local community (particularly working with young children).
