We are delighted to introduce Dr. Hamad Buamim, who was recently appointed as Regional Chair for our UAE Alumni Network.
Hamad is currently Chairman of the Board at Dubai Multi-Commodities Centre and holds pivotal roles as the Chairman of National General Insurance PJSC and Vice Chairman of Deyaar Properties PJSC. He serves as a Board Member of Economic Zones World (JAFZA), Dubai Islamic Bank PJSC, and International Hotel Investment PLC (Malta).
He studied the Doctor of Business Administration at Warwick Business School with a research focus on business model innovation, and graduated in 2024.
Hamad is looking forward to working with his fellow chairs: Sorina, Yasir, Hassan and Larry and has many plans for the network, including monthly social events, to grow the already vibrant UAE alumni community.
Hamad said: “I am excited to be a part of the WBS UAE alumni network. I look forward to providing regional insights to support the strategy and help build and shape the alumni community in the UAE.”
