WBS CareersPlus

Our dedicated CareersPlus team provides specialised careers services solely for Warwick Business School students including:

Bespoke employer events organised specifically for our students have seen the likes of EY, L’Oréal, Aldi, Johnson & Johnson, Royal Bank of Scotland, Grant Thornton UK LLP, Accenture and Aston Martin visit Warwick Business School, providing students with great networking opportunities and links to top local, national and international brands. 

Upon commencing your course, you will also be able to access our exclusive social media pages on Facebook and LinkedIn, whereby you can view further opportunities, employer events and career resources specifically aimed at WBS students and graduates.  

Student Careers & Skills

In addition, you will have access to the University of Warwick’s Centre for Student Careers & Skills who also provide skills workshops, access to job vacancies and further opportunities to meet employers on campus.

In today’s competitive job market you need to stand out from the crowd; employers will take notice if you demonstrate employability skills. Our dedicated CareersPlus team will be on hand to support you by providing advice and guidance on finding a placement and helping you with your application. 

If you choose to work in your third year instead of, or in addition to, studying overseas our CareersPlus team will provide advice and guidance on finding a placement.

Events organised throughout the year include the Business, Finance & Consultancy Fair, Investment Banking Uncovered, Careers in Advertising, Marketing and PR, Careers in Digital Communications, Careers in Politics and Government plus many more.

At WBS, we host various events with employers who are looking to engage with our students about their placements and internships. These events are ideal opportunities for undergraduates to meet with employers from a variety of different sectors, regarding their year away opportunities that their organisation offers. While many events primarily focus on placements and internships, employers will also be available to discuss spring weeks, insight programmes and graduate roles with students across other year groups as well.
