Elizabeth Pearson, Director, Change Management AECOM - Global Business Services
Elizabeth is a transformation director who has combined her senior marketing and communication experience with an earlier career in project management. She segued into change management after receiving a Grad. Dip in Organizational Change at Warwick Business School. Her career began in the City in London and she moved to Abu Dhabi in 2008, after seven years in Australia. She also lived in Africa and Asia in her childhood years.
Elizabeth’s particular focus is on influencing the business by managing key aspects of global strategic initiatives and transformation programs, bringing her understanding of different cultural practices to help in their success. She is passionate about identifying and aligning stakeholders’ needs, from both a global corporate view and from that of the individual countries involved. Currently Elizabeht delivers global digitalization and financial change programs and helps achieve optimum results.
Tariq Al Battahi, Lead Category Management at PDO, studying WBS Executive Diploma in Strategic Leadership & Change.
A mechanical engineer with a decade of experience in petroleum development in Oman, Tariq is pursuing an Executive Diploma in Strategic Leadership & Change at Warwick Business School. Tariq has vast experience of the dynamic nature of the global energy sector and how it necessitates continuous learning and adaptation. Studying at WBS provides a robust framework for understanding and navigating strategic challenges, which is crucial in role as a lead category manager.
The programme’s focus on leadership and change is particularly relevant. The energy industry is undergoing a significant transformation, with a shift towards sustainable and renewable sources. This change requires strong leadership to manage effectively. Dr Hamad Buamim, Chairman of the Board at Dubai Multi-Commodities Center (DMCC)
Dr. Hamad Buamim is the Chairman of the Board at Dubai Multi-Commodities Center (DMCC) and holds pivotal roles as the Chairman of National General Insurance PJSC and Vice Chairman of Deyaar Properties PJSC. He serves as a Board Member of Economic Zones World (JAFZA), Dubai Islamic Bank PJSC, and International Hotel Investment PLC (Malta).
Previously, Hamad held the esteemed position of President & CEO at the Dubai Chamber of Commerce from 2006 to 2022. During his tenure, he led transformative initiatives in Dubai and chaired the ICC World Chambers Federation (Paris) from 2018 to 2022. He also contributed his expertise as a member of the Board of the UAE Central Bank from 2012 to 2018.
Hamad’s educational journey includes earning a Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA) from Warwick Business School in the UK, a testament to his commitment to continuous learning.
