As a Masters student at WBS in the Business Analytics programme, I attended several research seminars at WBS and at Warwick in general, that were so intellectually stimulating, I knew that one day I wanted to be a part of and contribute to the research that was taking place around me. WBS’ reputation, the portfolio of academics and having been exposed to the high standard of teaching and research taking place around me, it cemented my decision to enrol in the programme.
In 2016, I entered the Doctoral Programme with a background in international business and analytics. In addition to the intensive first year modules which enhanced my theoretical and practical research skills, there are many opportunities to engage in specialized training within WBS and across the university. I feel this is an added benefit as I have been exposed to a range of diverse but complementary skills and interacted with researchers from other backgrounds, departments and universities.
I live off-campus, but commute to the WBS office as the environment is conducive to research with, comfortable, state of the art facilities and an amazing community that are very supportive in providing advice on the PhD journey. The campus is in a great location and there are easy links to train stations and both lively and quiet, but friendly neighbourhoods.
