MSc Accounting & Sustainability

Accounting has long shaped our possibilities in organisations, economy and society and it evolves to help us meet the challenges of the day. This course goes to the heart of one our biggest contemporary challenges namely sustainability and how we move forward in terms of organisational decision-making and accountability.

This programme provides an opportunity for those new to accounting, as well as those with experience, to engage with core technical and conceptual aspects of how accounting and sustainability can be powerful forces and how they operate together today. Providing opportunities for critical reflection on current practice throughout, and concluding with either a dissertation, Business in Practice module or a self-sourced internship, it also gives you opportunities to consider how we might shape the future of this inter-related expertise and its impact on how we value, decide, and organise.
