MSc Finance (2020 - 2021)

I decided to choose WBS to study MSc Finance, and found that two things set the school apart: the people and its environment. Firstly, the lecturers, the academic support staff, the careers team, and the wellbeing team are awesome. Never in my life have I encountered people who want the best for you to succeed. Everyone across the board wants you to succeed academically and personally. I have also found my lecturers to be very responsive which has been really reassuring whilst completing my studies at WBS.

The alumni also have an excellent reputation. When I worked with Citibank my manager and the Chief Country Officer has studied at WBS which was how I got to know the school. I decided to enrol for the course when our Prime Minister was appointed and I realised he is an alumnus of the University of Warwick.

In addition to this, the location of the University of Warwick campus is excellent. It is serene and very conducive for learning. I also feel very safe as there is 24-hour campus security so I can leave the library at midnight and walk back to my accommodation without any concerns.

Lastly, the curriculum is in a class all by itself. My goal is to transition into Investment Banking, and despite having no prior experience, the modules which I studied during the course have prepared me quantitively and qualitatively.
