• Connect MBA students and club members with finance specialists to share industry perspectives, ESG initiatives and best practices. 
• Support MBA students in learning and truly understanding the financial concepts developed within the MBA Programme.  
• Engage constantly in social platforms to promote the club and foster finance professional engagement.

Suited for:
• Finance or non-finance students who are convinced that professionals within the finance sector need to build a holistic mentality to support the development of local and international economies. Members should be engaged and eager to discuss case studies, share personal insights and network with colleagues to promote broader financial acumen.

At the Community Impact Club, we are passionate about helping out those around us. This comes in all shapes and sizes from working at food banks to painting fences at Spencer’s retreat. These activities provide both a sense of accomplishment and an opportunity to see other MBA students outside of their usual habitats.

Whether it is a salary negotiation, trying to increase your department's headcount, or a multimillion-dollar contract between multinationals, all achievements involve a negotiation at one or multiple steps in the journey. Negotiations constitute a very important (and fun) part of the organisational world and being good at it puts good negotiators a step ahead of their peers.

This club seeks to create a space in which we help each other master the many abilities needed to be good at negotiating and bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, unlocking the skills that will help us fulfil our potential. 

Besides providing useful information, insights from experts in the subject, and a safe space to practice negotiation, the aim is to create a community that enjoys engaging in negotiations and to use the skills learned in the club to create value for all the parties involved in a negotiation and understand how it can help us grow in our personal and professional life. Formerly called the WBS Automotive Club, we decided to rebrand as the WBA Mobility Club to encompass all forms of mobility. Through meetings, guest speaker events, and networking opportunities, we discuss major trends shaping the sector like electrification, autonomous driving, shared transportation business models, as well as challenges around sustainable mobility and solutions. 

Our recent event "The Future of Mobility: Ultra-efficiency or Disruption?" featured managers from JLR, Lotus Group, and Ricardo Consulting. Mobility enthusiasts across all backgrounds are encouraged to get involved by joining us.

The Black in Business initiative was created to initiate an environment that promotes the representation, well-being and advancement of black students, allies and alumni at WBS.

Our Mission and Activities:

• Community – Act as a centre of the community for all black students and allies at WBS by organising events. 
• Champion – Amplify black voices on the WBS campus by inviting black professionals to speak and present to the WBS community. such as the fireside chat with industry experts from the finance and technology sectors.
