Executive MBA London (2023-2025)

When you’ve spent years of your career managing high-stakes environments—overseeing complex healthcare operations, driving strategic initiatives, and leading teams through uncertainty—you start to see the bigger picture. But I knew that if I wanted to influence systems-level change and create impact at a much greater scale, I needed to evolve my perspective and broaden my toolkit. That’s what led me to the Executive MBA at Warwick Business School’s London base at The Shard.

Choosing to pursue an Executive MBA wasn’t just a professional decision, it was a personal milestone. I was seeking more than a business degree; I wanted a transformative experience—an environment that would challenge me intellectually, connect me with ambitious global leaders, and expand my perspective. WBS delivered exactly that, and so much more.

From the moment I joined, the calibre of the cohort was inspiring. Each module, from strategy and leadership to innovation and sustainability, was rich, relevant, and thought-provoking. The professors didn’t just teach frameworks; they created space for us to apply them in real-world settings, often drawing from our own industries and lived experiences. That practical approach really set WBS apart.

Studying at The Shard, an iconic symbol of modern London, brought a sense of sophistication and intent to the WBS Executive MBA experience. The panoramic views, executive setting, and energy of the city created a powerful environment for learning and reflection. But it wasn’t just about location, it was about access. Beyond the classroom, the programme offered a wealth of high-value experiences, from exclusive panel discussions to curated networking events with alumni, industry leaders, and peers from diverse sectors. These moments delivered powerful insights and invaluable connections, expanding not only my network but also my perspective on the possibilities ahead.

One of the biggest highlights for me was the overseas module in San Francisco, where we explored Entrepreneurial Finance in the heart of the world’s most innovative startup ecosystem. Engaging directly with founders, venture capitalists, and thought leaders in the Bay Area brought the theory to life in ways that were both energising and unforgettable. It sharpened my strategic thinking and deepened my understanding of how innovation can be scaled for real-world impact.

And the Leadership module? It helped me redefine what effective leadership means, not just in title, but in influence, authenticity, and the ability to lift others while navigating complexity.

As I near the end of this journey, I’m walking away with more than knowledge. I’ve gained a renewed sense of clarity, confidence, and community. The Executive MBA stretched me, humbled me, and ultimately, prepared me for what’s next. To anyone considering an Executive MBA: if you’re ready to be challenged, supported, and transformed—WBS is the place.
